Appointment Information

Bookings and cancellations

You will be asked to pay a deposit at the time of booking to secure your appointment. If you are unable to attend your appointment or need to reschedule, please contact the office as soon as possible so alternative arrangements can be made for you and so that your appointment can be offered to another patient. Appointments are able to be cancelled or rescheduled, and your deposit refunded, up to 24 hours prior to the appointment time. Late cancellations or no-shows will forfeit the deposit amount.

We recognise that your time is valuable and make every effort to keep to schedule. There are situations, however, where emergencies arise or patients require more time and attention and your understanding is appreciated.

New Patient Registration

Please arrive at your appointment 10 – 15 minutes before your appointment. You may be asked to complete electronic forms prior to your appointment or on paper when you arrive.

When you come for your first appointment, please remember to bring:

  • Medicare or Veterans’ Affairs card
  • Pension or Health Care card
  • Referral from your GP, family physician or other doctor (this is essential if seeing a Gynaecologist)
  • Health fund membership card
  • Copies of any relevant blood test or imaging reports, or previous surgical reports.
